“Once upon a time…”

So many of our favorite childhood stories began just like this, reminding us that, at some point, it may have started just like this. There is usually a beautiful girl, maybe a handsome prince, or a beast who just needs genuine love, and a few pages later, “they lived happily ever after.”

Maybe your life has been the makings of a fairy tale. Or maybe your life has looked a lot more like mine, and countless other individuals I’ve met.

Teenage parent.

Financial struggles.

Family issues.

Anxiety.

Relationship issues.

Abuse.

Business failures.

Joy.

Business success.

Pain.

It doesn’t matter what parts make up your story, but it does matter that you are actively participating in your story. You are writing or rewriting your story. The characters. The events. The hero. The heroine. That’s you. You get to be the hero in your own story. And hearing your story, just may help someone else complete their own. That’s the power of your story. The power of your testimony. The power of your achievements and failures.

The greatest story ever written, starts with, “In the beginning, God created…”. Your story begins the same way. He created. Now it’s your turn. Let’s create our own story.
